Friendly society, Royal Liver Assurance is to combine its UK face to face advice division with its subsidiary, independent financial adviser, Park Row Group to enable IFA-style advice to be delivered to a wider audience in the UK.

During the first half of 2006, it is intended that Royal Liver’s face to face advice division will join Park Row’s 450 plus independent financial advisers under the banner, Park Row, A Royal Liver Company.

It is envisaged that the new entity will continue to deliver the professional and dynamic service that Park Row Group customers have come to expect, along with being able to offer face to face advice to those people with simpler financial services needs – in the comfort of customers’ own homes.
"We’ve been monitoring the market intently during the last few years and there is a clear gap for a single source of trusted face to face advice aimed at the mass market," said Royal Liver’s Chief Executive, Steve Burnett.

The combining of the two entities is expected to enable Royal Liver’s advisers to be permitted to give advice on a wider range of top quality products from other providers, while operating from a reduced cost base. *

Steve Burnett also believes that Park Row’s reputation for offering advisers career progression and development – that is second to none in the industry – will be further enhanced by the integration: "Growth will be a key priority for the organisation and our unique career progression model will also help us secure the best advisers in the industry."

Award winning Park Row, was bought by Royal Liver Assurance two years ago, as a means of broadening the society’s presence in the financial services advice sector.

Park Row currently provides financial solutions and financial planning advice to corporate and individual clients across the UK, through its network of independent financial advisers and mortgage advisers.
